Oleshchuk said that the night drone attack The attack by the invaders became one of the most massive – the Russians launched the same number of Shahed drones at our country on New Year's Eve, NBN reports.
According to the general, the invaders attacked the Nikolaev region with an X-59 air missile launched from the occupied territory of the Kherson region. The air defense forces destroyed this target.
Putin's army also attacked our country with Shaheds. The Russians launched kamikaze drones from the Seshcha area of the Bryansk region, Kursk, Yeysk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Krasnodar region. Mostly, all the UAVs flew to the Kiev region. The air defense shot down all 89 drones.
The military leader added that the air attack of the aggressor country was repelled by fighters from anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare of the Air Force, mobile fire groups of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, army aviation of the Ground Forces and tactical aviation of the Armed Forces.
