The focus was on the consequences of the latest Russian air attacks and measures to strengthen the country's energy infrastructure. Ukraine needs additional equipment to create a decentralized energy system.
Shmygal informed Verma about significant damage to civilian infrastructure as a result of the latest massive strikes and emphasized the need for US support in preparing for the upcoming heating season.
The full confiscation of frozen Russian assets with the use of these funds to support Ukraine was also discussed. Kyiv expects its partners to accelerate their actions in this direction and counts on active support from the United States.
Recall that earlier we wrote that the media found out why the United States prohibits Ukraine from striking deep into the Russian Federation with long-range weapons.
