As reported by “NBN” with reference to the BBC material, the head of the educational and scientific department Oksen Lisovoy denied the above-described information regarding the involvement of schoolchildren in the territories of the Kursk region (controlled by the Defense Forces) in the educational process established by Ukraine.
Based on Lisovoy's words, in the corridors of the Ministry, at first, they seriously discussed the possibility of starting to educate young Russians in the controlled part of the Kursk region, however, later they made an unambiguous decision – they will not start the school year there, since Kyiv adheres to the norms of international legislation.
In particular, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science firmly emphasized:
We will not do as Russia does [imposing its ideology on Ukrainian children in the temporarily occupied territories], but we will do better.
