As NBN reports with reference to a video from the Seconds Out YouTube channel, Jonathan Banks, who was Vladimir Klitschko's coach when he spoke about the early victory of IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois in a fight against Anthony Joshua.
According to Banks, Dubois entered the ring and saw that AJ [Anthony Joshua] was fighting without raising his hands, that is, Daniel realized that Anthony did not intend to box with his opponent sluggishly, but was striving to “fight”, so the future champion became somewhat “inspired and began throwing punches.” At the same time, when the series of punches passed, Dubois realized that AJ was not reacting to them too adequately, which shocked Daniel a little.
The former trainer of Klitschko summed up:
If you look at Dubois, when he first hit Joshua, he [surprisedly] looked at AJ, and his eyes widened. He was surprised that he shook Joshua. From that moment on, he began his work.
