A Western media outlet reports that the Russian Armed Forces' attempt to carry out a counterattack near Plekhovo in the Kursk region has failed, as the invaders have fallen into their own trap.

The Forbes publication reported that at the end of last week, Putin's army carried out a failed counterattack with the aim of driving the Ukrainian Armed Forces out of Plekhovo, Sudzhansky District. The village was taken over by the Ukrainian Defense Forces as part of an offensive in the border region of the aggressor country, NBN reports.
The media writes that in the vicinity of this village, before the Ukrainian troops entered the region, the Russians created a complex of infantry trenches and anti-tank traps at the beginning of last month.
When attempting to counterattack the defenders in Plekhovo, the column of occupiers fell into their own trap, getting stuck in the defensive structures that were supposed to stop the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Ukrainian journalist Yuriy Butusov reported that the UAV operators of the 129th Troops Reconnaissance Brigade taught the enemy a lesson by “minus” the invaders’ personnel and dozens of their armored vehicles near the village.
