As reported by NBN with a link on the official page of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the minimum unemployment benefit has been increased from UAH 2,500 to UAH 3,600, but such changes will only affect certain segments of the population.
As it became known, the payment of UAH 3,600 is guaranteed:
- persons who do not have 7 months of insurance experience over 12 months prior to being assigned the status of unemployed, who received UAH 1,500;
- persons who worked for at least 7 months before unemployment, and received 2 500 UAH;
- internally displaced persons (IDPs) who do not have documentation confirming their insurance record, and received 2 500 UAH.
At the same time, the amount of the minimum standard unemployment benefit has not changed and is 1 500 UAH, and is also accrued to:
- “youth” up to 35 years of age, who do not have insurance record;
- persons dismissed due to systematic failure to perform duties without good reason, absenteeism, embezzlement at the place of employment and identical violations.
Earlier we wrote about the fact that the Pension Fund of Ukraine reminded pensioners how to apply for an additional payment of 944 hryvnia.
