As reported by “NBN” with reference to the statement voiced by the member of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence Fedir Venislavsky on the YouTube channel Media Center Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is preparing to approve a draft law that guarantees the provision of mandatory vacations to military personnel performing combat missions.
Based on Venislavsky's words, a group of elected representatives, together with representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, continue to work on the prompt implementation of this initiative, aimed at providing the Defense Forces with the opportunity to rest and recuperate, which is very important for the physical and moral state of the defenders.
The MP added that versions of the bill are also being considered regarding the provision of additional vacations, which will allow our soldiers to return to normal mode after participating in prolonged military operations, within the framework of strengthening the social protection of military personnel, by optimizing the issue of receiving leave.
