The head of the Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council, Lieutenant Andrey Kovalenko, reported a drone attack on a port in the Russian city of Kaspiysk.

On Wednesday, November 6, Kovalenko confirmed on his Telegram channel that drones had attacked the city of Kaspiysk in the Russian Republic of Dagestan. The UAV's target was the local port, according to the head of the Central Dispatch Center, there are Russian Navy ships there, the NBN publication reports.
Earlier, Russians reported a drone attack on Kaspiysk on social networks. The ASTRA Telegram channel published a video of the drone being destroyed in the city. After that, residents also heard more “bangs”.

The head of the Republic of Dagestan, Sergei Melikov, said that Russian air defense forces destroyed a drone over Kaspiysk. The official called on local residents not to publish photos and videos of the attack, so as “not to assist the enemy.”
However, eyewitnesses soon published footage that confirms that the UAV's target was the main base of the Russian Navy's Caspian Flotilla in the region. One of the drones could have exploded on the territory of the facility.
