Currently, Washington is one of the largest donors to the UN — the US covers 22 percent of the organization's main budget and 27 percent for peacekeeping operations.

As NBN reports with reference to Reuters material, the United Nations (UN) is very concerned about Donald Trump's victory in the American presidential race for a number of valid reasons.
The UN's key concerns are that Trump could cut funding for the organization and withdraw from key international agreements and institutions, including the World Health Organization or the Paris Climate Agreement.
In addition, if the White House backs down on the UN mandate, such actions would open the door to Beijing, and China would be able to present itself as the “number one fan of multilateralism.”
It should be noted that the administration of the previous president, Joseph Biden, owed $995 million to the UN's core budget and $862 million to conduct peacekeeping missions, and if the US reduces the volume of funding for the organization, then the implementation of its main “activities” will become impossible.
Earlier we wrote about Kislitsa's statement at the UN about the “paralysis” of the organization due to the actions of the Russian Federation.
