As reported by NBN with reference to the October “Inflation Report” posted on the official website of the National Bank of Ukraine, the forecast regarding the outflow of people from the country this year it has worsened to 500,000 people (previously – 400,000).
According to analysts, the increase in the outflow of the population in 2024 has a somewhat positive trend – the number of citizens planning to leave Ukraine later will decrease. For example, starting next year, according to estimates by NBU experts, only 200,000 people will leave the country instead of the expected 300,000.
Also, experts are confident that the so-called “net return” of migrants to their homeland will begin no later than 2026, despite the fact that most refugees have managed to adapt to their new place, and the number of “those wishing” will be more than 200,000 people.
Earlier, our information portal wrote that the NBU predicted an intensive increase in prices due to the acceleration of inflation in Ukraine.
