In an interview with OBOZ.UA, a musician and serviceman explained why Ukrainian-born singers Ani Lorak and Taisiya Povaliy chose to live and work in the Russian Federation despite the Russian invasion, NBN reports.
“The answer is very simple: money,” said a soldier from the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to him, these “pieces of paper” override conscience, Ukrainian roots, homeland, relatives in Ukraine, etc. At the same time, Kuvaldin believes that such a choice by his colleagues on stage did not bring them happiness, because “when you make a pact with Satan, you lose from the very beginning.”
Earlier, the leader of the group “TIK” Viktor Bronuk expressed the same opinion about the reasons for the singers’ betrayal. The musician believes that the artists “chase the long ruble” and neither one of them has a conscience.
At the same time, director and music video maker Alan Badoev believes that Ani Lorak and Taisiya Povaliy can “earn their bread and butter” only in the Russian Federation, because they are not needed anywhere else.
