The state budget of Ukraine for 2025 has allocated 200 million hryvnias for the implementation of the next government program of financial support for the population.

As reported by “NBN” with reference to the explanation of the First Deputy Head of the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications of Ukraine Galina Grigorenko, which was voiced on the air of the telethon on the YouTube channel “TSN”, from Monday, December 16, the state will begin to pay certain categories of Ukrainians money for the purchase of various types of books.
Based on Grigorenko's words, the “eBook” program will start tomorrow, aimed at expanding access of domestic youth to samples of modern literature and promoting increased interest of Ukrainians in reading.
In particular, according to the criteria of “eKniga”, every Ukrainian who has turned 18 since January 1 of this year (within 12 months), or who has reached 18 in 2025, as well as one of the parents/other legal representatives, within a year from the child's birthday, is guaranteed to receive 908 hryvnia for the purchase of paper, electronic or audio books.
A necessary condition is to register in the mobile government application “Diia”, and then submit an application to receive funds within the framework of the program “єКнига”.
