The head of state commented on Fico's visit to Moscow on his page on the social network X (former Twitter). He drew attention to the fact that the Slovak Prime Minister and the Kremlin dictator did not make any joint statements or answer questions from the media after the meeting; apparently, they are afraid to say what they discussed during the talks, as they are afraid of the public reaction, the NBN newspaper writes.
The Ukrainian leader warned that the Kremlin is providing significant discounts to the politician, but Slovakia will pay for them with its sovereignty or shadow schemes.
Zelensky recalled that European leaders in Brussels recently announced the Slovak Prime Minister’s intention to oust American gas and the energy resources of other allies from Europe in order to help Russia earn money to continue the war.
The President stressed that the representative of Bratislava is interested in “blue fuel” from the Russian Federation, since he refused compensation that would make the transition period easier for his country and help it get rid of its dependence on Russian gas.
The guarantor added that Fico’s main goal is to do business with Moscow, which threatens security Slovakia and European countries.
Recall that last week the head of the Slovak government threatened Zelensky, who announced the termination of gas transit from the Russian Federation.
