Tregubov, on the air of the TV channel “We are Ukraine”, spoke about the situation in the Pokrovsk area of the Donetsk region, where Russian the invaders are trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, despite significant losses of manpower, the NBN publication reports.
The spokesman for the Khortytsia OSGV reported that in the last 24 hours alone, Ukrainian soldiers have stopped 60 assault and offensive actions by the occupiers in this direction.
According to him, the aggressor has a superiority in manpower in this section of the front; the 2nd, 41st, and 51st combined arms armies of the Central Military District of the Russian Federation are concentrated against the Ukrainian Armed Forces. As Tregubov specified, the invaders are avoiding a frontal assault on the city and are trying to break through the defense from the flanks, while there is no fighting in Pokrovsk and its environs yet.
He added that the “second army of the world” in this zone of the front lost 261 occupiers over the past 24 hours, of which 133 Putin's soldiers were killed.
Recall that an analyst from the American publication assessed the offensive of Russian troops in the Pokrovsk direction.
