As NBN reports with reference to the official X-account of First Deputy Prime Minister/Head of the Ministry of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko, in order for the European Union to provide Ukraine with 12.5 billion euros of support, Kyiv should “extinguish” 56 indicators within the framework of the Ukraine Facility initiative.
Based on Svyrydenko’s words, 2024 is the first year of implementation of the Ukraine Facility, and if positive results are achieved, Ukraine is guaranteed to receive 16.2 billion euros of financial support. However, the government of our country managed to complete only 23 steps required to receive these funds:
- 9— ahead of schedule;
- 14— by adopting 16 strategically important documents and 15 bills.
Thus, Kyiv still has a lot of work ahead of it, since the key volume of subsequent indicators, 56, is scheduled for 2025:
Having completed them, Ukraine will receive another 12.5 billion euros in the state budget next year.
