As reported by NBN with reference to the Espresso material, the chief of the communications department of the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, Major Nadezhda Zamriga, explained why the “liberators” reduced their activity in the Kupyansk direction
Based on Zamriga’s words, the unit’s fighters “worked” well on the front lines on the eve of the New Year, successfully repelling two assaults by Putin’s troops, during which the occupiers attempted to advance towards the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in armored vehicles: two columns consisting of tanks, infantry fighting vehicles and MTLBs were completely “demilitarized.”
An identical fate befell the enemy infantry hiding in the forest plantations: the entire brigade personnel, from the commander to the ordinary soldier, participated in the elimination of the enemy.
Zamriga summarized:
For some time, the enemy in our brigade's area of responsibility fell silent. That is, there are not as many assaults as there were before this, before these columns.
