A British intelligence report reports that December 2024 was the most expensive month of the war for the Russian Armed Forces – according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Putin's army lost 48,670 occupiers were wounded and killed.
This was reported by the NBN publication with reference to the page of the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom on the X social network (former Twitter).
It is noted that last year the aggressor country lost 429,660 “two-hundredths” and “three-hundredths” in the war. In 2023, Russian losses amounted to 252,940 invaders. In total, since the beginning of the war, the Russian Federation has lost more than 790,000 fighters.
British intelligence writes that on December 19, 2024, a new war record was recorded – the Russians lost 2,200 soldiers in a day. This month, the Russian Armed Forces reached a new monthly maximum.
The department predicts that the “second army in the world” will continue to suffer heavy losses this month due to ongoing infantry attacks in several directions of the front.
Earlier, the Institute for the Study of War named the number of losses of Russian troops last year.
