As reported by “NBN” with reference to the material “RBK-Ukraine”, the answer was heard from the chairperson of the Servant of the People party, Elena Shulyak – the process of preparation for holding new elections in a state after the war, at least six months are needed.
Based on Shulyak's words, in December 2023, all parliamentary factions and groups signed an unambiguous agreement, in accordance with which, all people's deputies approve the minimum possible period of 6 months. This is the period necessary for proper preparation both at the technical level and for updating the norms of the current legislation.
In addition, the official added that it is necessary to have time to restore thousands of polling stations located in schools and kindergartens, destroyed by the actions of Putin's army:
We need to understand where the new stations will be, on what basis they will be.
