As reported by NBN with reference to TheVerge material, within the framework of the CES-2025 exhibition, the tech giant Acer presented 2 models of its line of portable gaming devices – Nitro Blaze 8/Blaze 11, of which the last “gadget” is of particular interest, having attracted attention with its impressive dimensions, exceeding the identical dimensions of the Steam Deck.
As it became known, Nitro Blaze 11 will receive a 10.95-inch 2K screen with a frequency of 120 GHz, and will work on the AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS microchip with 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and a solid-state drive SSD up to 2 terabytes.
This version of the “compact” game console weighs about 1 kilogram, but, according to journalists, it does not feel as heavy as it might seem at first glance. In addition, experts praised the console for its detachable gamepads (in the style of Nintendo Switch) and a large number of different ports.
However, the expected cost of the Nitro Blaze 11 will be about $1,100, which is almost twice as expensive as the Steam Deck, and, judging by everything, this is not so much due to its size.
