As reported by NBN with reference to the Telegram channel “Servant of the People”, a statement was made by Oleksandr Fediyenko, a member of the parliamentary committee on national security, defense and intelligence (he is a people's deputy from the faction of the same name) – currently no bills have been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada concerning the revision of the mobilization age downwards.
Based on Fediyenko's words, “as of today”, the defense committee of the Verkhovna Rada has not received any legislative initiatives providing for a change in the age category of the “mobilization resource”
Up to 18, 19 or 20 years old.
In addition, the people's representative added that none of the parliamentarians intend to vote for the above-described document, since the allied countries must first fulfill their obligations,
and give us these weapons.
Also, Fediyenko emphasized that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have a sufficient number of reserve brigades ready to go to the line of combat contact, if, of course, the personnel are “re-equipped and additional weapons are added.”
