As reported by NBN with reference to a CNN article, US President Donald Trump made a statement – he discussed with Jordanian King Abdullah II a potential plan that provides for the beginning of the reconstruction of residential infrastructure and the subsequent resettlement of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip into new homes.

Based on Trump's words, he asked Abdullah II to accommodate additional Palestinians on the territory of his state, since the entire Gaza Strip is now in “real disarray.”

The new head of the White House added – it is not only Jordan that should accept people from the above-described Palestinian enclave, since identical measures were also discussed with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi.

Trump's direct speech:

You're talking about one and a half million people, and we'll just clear it all out [move the population for a short time].

At the same time, the US President emphasized that the housing built could be both a temporary shelter for Palestinians and a long-term one.

Earlier, we wrote that Trump is not against purchasing American weapons for Ukraine using frozen Russian funds.
