On air at Radio Liberty, the deputy drew attention to the fact that after each successful counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and deoccupation of territories, the Kremlin dictator “offers to talk about something.” However, there are currently no grounds for dialogue with the head of the Russian Federation, the NBN publication writes.
The MP believes that the decree of the head of state, which prohibits the negotiation process with the Russian leader and has been in effect since September 30, 2022, may be canceled.
Mezentseva-Fedorenko is convinced that “if the situation requires changes, such changes will be made.” In her opinion, the president will not break the law, but the corresponding decision must be supported by other members of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.
Recall that the MP from the Servant of the People political force commented on media reports about the alleged statement of Ukraine's chief intelligence officer Kirill Budanov at a closed meeting in the Rada about “negotiations until the summer.”
