As reported by “NBN” with reference to the material of the FoxNews TV channel, from the US Special Representative for Ukraine and the Russian Federation, Keith Kellogg, an explanation was given: the accelerated approach of the end of the Russian-Ukrainian war is in the interests of the entire world community, including the United States.
Based on Kellogg's words, if Washington can stop the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, then such a scenario will be beneficial to the whole world, not excluding the United States, since this is in line with American national security policy.
At the same time, the high-ranking official added: the United States is capable of achieving a ceasefire and the onset of full-fledged peace in Ukraine not for several years, and “within months”, as Trump seeks to “create leverage for both Kyiv and Moscow”, and “knows where and how to apply pressure”.
Kellogg emphasized:
