As NBN reports with reference to an explanation published on the Facebook profile of the spokesman for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Andrey Yusov, Budanov was not at the Bristol Hotel, as the propaganda of the terrorist state is trying to convince.

Based on Yusov’s words, the head of the GUR did not visit the Bristol or other historical buildings in the center of Odessa that are under the protection of UNESCO (Russian propaganda assured—the missile hit a secret bunker “a few meters from the hotel”). Thus, Moscow is simply trying to justify war crimes and the genocidal war against Ukrainians, for which Putin's army is directly responsible.

In addition, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation (CCD) under the National Security and Defense Council, Andrei Kovalenko, also refuted the propaganda of the “Kremlin mouthpieces” regarding the “victim” Budanov in his Telegram profile, stating:

Everything is fine with the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense, Kirill Budanov. Don't spread Russian fakes.

Earlier we wrote about how the TsPD commented on reports about the Russian Federation's preparations for the production of Iskanders with a 1,000-kilometer range.
