As reported by NBN with reference to information published in the official Telegram channel of NEC Ukrenergo, the key reason for today's return to emergency power outages in some regions of our country is the unresolved consequences of previous drone strikes by a terrorist state on generation facilities and distribution system communications.
Based on the assurances of energy workers, these restrictions will primarily affect industrial consumers (the business sector), if possible, and it is not planned to de-energize the population of Ukraine unless emergency situations arise in the regional energy company networks.
However, the emergency power outage regime will be lifted only after the energy system has stabilized, and such inconveniences, judging by everything, are provoked, among other things, by the onset of cold weather.
Ukrenergo summarized:
In the regions [in Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, Poltava, Zaporizhia, Kirovograd, Dnipropetrovsk (partially) and Cherkasy (partially)], where emergency shutdowns are applied, it is very important to follow the recommendations for economical consumption when the power comes back on.
Earlier we wrote about whether the introduction of stabilization schedules for power outages on February 6 was predicted.
