The Office of the President of Ukraine answered whether Volodymyr Zelensky will apologize to Donald Trump for the quarrel in the Oval Office on February 28.

A representative of the OPU in an interview with the French publication Le Point stated that our president did not make any mistakes at the meeting in the White House on February 28. The head of state was “absolutely right in both form and content,” so Kyiv should not apologize to Washington for this quarrel, writes “NBN.”
Podolyak explained that the head of state tried to convey to the American leadership that it was necessary to put pressure on the Russian Federation and that they should not expect positive results by counting on voluntary concessions from the Kremlin.
Despite the scandal, as the adviser to the head of Zelensky's Office clarified, the American leader remains a partner of our country and Kyiv needs to continue to maintain constructive relations with Washington.
The official believes that the dispute at the White House meeting was in some ways useful – both sides laid out their views and now must reach a consensus on negotiations with Russia and other important issues.
