As NBN reports, citing Associated Press sources, the Ukrainian army has exhausted its stocks of long-range tactical missiles ATACMS, previously provided by the United States.
According to unspecified high-ranking American officials and a Ukrainian MP from the parliamentary defense committee, the Pentagon has given Ukraine less than 40 of these missiles in total, and their stocks ran out the month before last.
It should be noted that earlier the top leadership of the US Department of Defense, including the former head of the said department Lloyd Austin, stated that the volume of ATACMS supplies to Ukraine will remain limited, since Washington and its NATO allies consider other types of weapons as a higher priority for supporting our country.
In addition, it is little known whether these long-range missiles are included in the military aid packages that are now en route to Ukraine after the “pause” in deliveries was lifted.
