As reported by NBN with reference to a video from the YouTube channel Suspilne.Novini, President Volodymyr Zelensky explained that a number of international partners and Ukraine have already signed a corresponding agreement providing for financing of a new initiative aimed at supplying 155-mm artillery shells.
According to Zelensky, the above-mentioned deliveries are an important result of the launch of the adjusted February “Czech initiative” concerning the purchase of artillery shells.
The guarantor did not specify exactly how much ammunition Ukraine would receive, but added:
…[This is] a serious package, paid for and signed, on the initiative of supplying 155-caliber artillery for Ukraine.
It should be noted that by mid-February, the Czech government had already provided Ukraine with 1.6 million different shells and guaranteed the continuation of identical deliveries until April.
