In an interview with the Air Force, the chief intelligence officer of Ukraine assured that our country is capable of ending the war with the Russian Federation by restoring its territorial integrity with access to the state borders in 1991.
According to the general, even after the end of hostilities, the situation on the borders will remain tense, NBN reports.
Budanov believes that the war will end even under the current military-political power in the aggressor country. However, the Russian Federation will continue to try to start a new conflict, because it will not give up its goal to destroy Ukraine.
The military leader called for looking at the history of the two countries, based on which it becomes clear that the conflict between them will appear, subside, then again appear, etc. The head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the MOU added that Ukraine can win the war, but is not able to change the course of history in the future.
Also in the interview, the general assessed the training of the infantry of the Russian Armed Forces and pointed out problems in Putin’s occupation forces.
