The fact that this type of fraud is directly with a simulation of the work of Telegram technical support, which usually sends users personal notifications regarding the confirmation of all important operations with an account, which was immediately taken advantage of by cybercriminals, writes NBN, referring to the F.A.C.C.T.
In particular, “digital” attackers create a “fake” account that imitates the official Telegram bot, which sends messages to users about an allegedly issued request for account deactivation, for which you need to enter your phone number and an SMS confirmation code on the “official” messenger website.
In fact, after the victim clicks on the link, he ends up on a phishing page that copies the usual design of the Telegram website, and if a gullible person enters the number and SMS code, then he will completely lose control over with your messenger account.
