The press service of the Sumy ODA reported that the troops of the Russian Federation carried out an air strike on the civilian infrastructure and residential sector of the regional center at about 15:00, publishing photographs of the consequences of the shelling.
The department noted that, according to preliminary information, three people were injured as a result of the attack by Russian invaders, NBN reports.

In addition, the KAB strike destroyed the roof of a non-residential room that caught fire. State Emergency Service employees extinguished the fire. Two administrative non-residential premises and 73 windows in three residential buildings were also damaged.
Earlier, Russian occupation forces carried out an air strike on Sumy on Thursday, April 11. Putin's army hit a thermal power plant in the regional center with KABs; according to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
On the same day, the Russian Armed Forces shelled Nikolaev with ballistics. The Southern Defense Forces showed footage of the consequences of an enemy attack on the city.
