31 amendments were made to the new mobilization bill, which was adopted today by the Verkhovna Rada without a norm on demobilization, NBN reports with reference to the RBC-Ukraine publication.

The new document provides for the introduction of basic military service for a period of for 3 months in wartime, and 5 months in peacetime. Citizens under 24 years of age have the right to choose the year and period of service. In addition, from 2025, combined arms training will become an element of training in educational institutions.

The new rules will allow those liable for military service to update their personal data without visiting the TCC – in the TsNAP or the personal electronic account of a conscript, liable for military service or reservist. Such citizens abroad must remotely update personal data in the TCC within 60 days using a phone call, email or e-account.

As before, people with disabilities, as well as those released from captivity, have the right to demobilization. Citizens recognized as partially fit for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine must re-pass the Military Military Test. Ukrainians who received II — III disability group after February 24, 2022, except for defenders, will undergo a repeat medical examination to determine suitability for service.

Now police officers, representatives of the TCC or the State Border Guard Service, when checking documents of Ukrainians aged 18 to 60 years, will record the corresponding process in the photo or video. Citizens must have a military registration document with them and show it upon request.

Previously, the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Pavlyuk, spoke about mobilization and evasion of the TCC.
