US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, in an interview with the American publication Time, said that he will not financially support Ukraine until European states increase the amount of assistance to Kyiv to the US level, NBN reports.
Biden's opponent asked why the States should pay if Europe allegedly does not intend to do so. According to the scandalous politician, the war in Ukraine had a greater impact on European states than on his country, which is shared with the region by an ocean.
At the same time, American journalists recalled that the states of the European Union provided Ukraine with military assistance worth more than 100 billions of US dollars since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation.
Recall that the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland, Radoslaw Sikorski, commented on Trump’s position on Ukraine, recalling the meeting of the US presidential candidate with Polish leader Andrzej Duda.
