Head of State Vladimir Zelensky addressed Ukrainians on the occasion of the Day of Resistance to the Occupation of Crimea and Sevastopol. The President said what is needed to end the war with the Russian Federation on Kiev's terms.

During his address to his compatriots, Zelensky noted that since February 26, 2014, when a rally of thousands of pro-Ukrainian forces took place under the walls of the Crimean Parliament, a lot has changed. Now our country can end the war on Kiev’s terms, return its territories and its people from occupation, and also bring the Russian Federation to fair responsibility for its crimes.
According to the president, to implement such a scenario, Ukrainians must continue to fight, informs NBN.
The Garant noted that it is possible to end a war truly honestly if it is possible to extinguish the evil that gave rise to it. The Ukrainian leader noted that for this reason, the desire for peace and a sense of justice must go hand in hand.
The head of state added that our country must fight for the people in Crimea and other temporarily occupied regions, for the full restoration of the strength of the international rights in relation to the peninsula occupied by the Russian Federation and for the right of the Crimean Tatars to live in their home.
Zelensky emphasized that the implementation of each of these points extinguishes the revanchism of the Russian Federation and actually ends the war.
