Oleg Vynnyk, one of the most popular Ukrainian performers before the war, has officially announced his first concert after a three-year hiatus. During his long stay abroad, the artist decided to perform in Warsaw, Poland. The event is scheduled for December 21, 2024, on the eve of the Christmas holidays, reports WomanEL.
This news caused a variety of reactions: from the delight of fans to criticism related to Vynnyk's absence from Ukraine during a full-scale war.
Oleg Vynnyk disappeared from the public space at the beginning of the war in 2022, choosing Germany as his place of residence. Explaining his silence, the singer stated that he was abroad due to health reasons. However, many fans found this argument insufficient.
In August 2024, Vynnyk tried to remind himself by releasing the track “My People”, which he dedicated to Ukrainians. But even this gesture could not fully restore the trust of fans. Now the singer has decided to return to the stage, promising a big concert in Warsaw. Many Ukrainians believe that Vynnyk should support the Motherland not only with words, but also with actions, especially in the most difficult times.
