The victory of Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk in the fight with Tyson Fury caused a wave of indignation among the daughter of the deceased linguist Iryna Farion, Sofia Semchyshyn. In her post on Facebook, she expressed anger over the fact that Usyk dedicated his victory to all the mothers of Ukraine, including her mother, who was brutally killed during an attempt on her life, writes WomanEL.
You dedicated your victory to the mothers of Ukraine? My mother was killed! Look what you said about my mother. You insulted our family. I'm disgusted that now the entire FB page is about this fight, and I want it to be about our Defenders,
the girl wrote.
The fact that Usyk earlier called Iryna Farion a “Kremlin agent” in an emotional poem after her scandalous statements that Russian-speaking fighters in the Armed Forces of Ukraine are not Ukrainians also caused outrage. Then the athlete defended all servicemen who do not speak Ukrainian. The poem, written a year ago, became one of the reasons for the misunderstanding between the boxer and the Farion family.

Let us recall that on the night of December 22, Usyk won a rematch with Briton Tyson Fury, defending his WBC, WBO, WBA and IBO world heavyweight champion titles.
