Indian-born British actor Dev Patel turned into a real action star in his debut film Monkeyman. Dev acted as a director and played the main role, says WomanEL.
The film has already received the highest ratings from viewers and critics and received a standing ovation after the first public screenings. The world press also noted the striking visual style of Monkeyman. The film has a 91% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. This makes it one of the most highly rated not only this year, but also among the action films.

The film was produced by one of the most successful Hollywood producers and directors Jordan Peele (“Trap”, “Us” and “No”) and the team from Basil Ivanek’s Thunder Road studio. One of the leading roles in the blockbuster is played by Sharlto Copley, known for such films as “District 9”, “The Witch”, “Elysium”, “Chappy the Robot” and “The A-Team”.
For the first time The film premiered on March 11 at the SXSW (South by Southwest) festival, a popular event that brings together the best and the best from industries such as film, music, culture and education. Dev Patel presented the film personally and answered numerous questions from viewers and critics. Monkeyman will be released in Ukrainian theaters on April 18, but in the meantime we’re watching the trailer for the exciting action.
