The Rasmus Arrives in Kyiv: Festival Show and Charity Mission

Finnish rock band The Rasmus arrived in Kyiv to headline Atlas Festival and support a charity initiative for children's hospital "Okhmatdyt".

Finnish rock band The Rasmus has officially arrived in Ukraine. The musicians were spotted at the central railway station in Kyiv, where journalists were waiting to greet them. This was reported by the Baltimore Chronicle.

One of the first to share the news was Kateryna Filatova, daughter of the mayor of Dnipro. In her photo blog, she mentioned that she was traveling in the same train car as the band and humorously wrote: “I was wondering why the car was so new, clean, and polite—turns out The Rasmus were traveling in the next compartment.”

The Rasmus arrived in Kyiv ahead of their scheduled performance at Atlas Festival, set to take place on July 19. The band will be the main international headliner of the event. However, their visit is not limited to the concert. The Rasmus have also joined a charity initiative organized by the “Good Donations” foundation. For the second year in a row, the foundation, in partnership with the festival, has been raising funds to support Ukrainian children’s hospitals.

This year’s campaign focuses on purchasing essential medical equipment for the National Children’s Specialized Hospital “Okhmatdyt”. During their stay in Ukraine, The Rasmus will also host an autograph session, speak to the press, and personally visit the hospital.
