In Sunday, February 18, on the last day of competition at the Biathlon World Championships 2024 in Nove Mesto, Czech Republic, the women's mass start took place.
Ukraine was represented in it by one biathlete – Kristina Dmitrenko, for whom this was the debut planetary championship in her career.
With three misses at the shooting range, the 24-year-old Ukrainian reached the finish line in 27th place.
The Frenchwoman Justine Brezat-Boucher became the world champion in the mass start. Italian Lisa Vittozzi won silver, and Frenchwoman Lou Jeanmonnot won bronze.
