Marina took a break from performing due to inflammation of the Achilles.
Ukrainian track and field athlete Marina Bekh-Romanchuk completed the winter season ahead of schedule.
In a comment to Suspilna Sport, the 28-year-old athlete said that the reason for this decision was inflammation Achilles.
Bekh-Romanchuk will focus on preparing for the 2024 Olympics, where she has already qualified in the triple jump.
She planned to compete at the 2024 World Indoor Championships, but due to injury will miss the planetary championship.
Thus, Marina ends the winter part of the season with only one start. In January, she competed in Dortmund, where she took sixth place in the long jump and also ran the 60-meter dash.
Bekh-Romanchuk completed the winter part of the season early for the second time in a row. Last year, due to a foot injury, she did not compete at the European Indoor Championships.
