The Saudi Football Federation has launched an investigation into the incident.
Star Al-Nasr forward Cristiano Ronaldo got into a scandal because of his antics after the match of the 21st round of the Saudi Arabian championship with Al-Shabab.
The match ended in victory for the team the Portuguese with a score of 2:3. In the first half, Ronaldo opened the scoring by converting a penalty.
After the final whistle, a group of Al-Shabaab fans in the stands began chanting the name of the Portuguese's eternal rival – Argentine forward Lionel Messi.
In response Cristiano could not resist the provocation and reached for his genitals, demonstrating an obscene gesture to the opponent’s fans.

The Saudi newspaper Asharq al-Awsat reported, that the Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) disciplinary committee has launched an investigation into the incident. However, most likely, due to his status, the Portuguese will avoid disqualification or other serious punishment.
This season, Ronaldo has made 28 appearances for Al-Nassr in all tournaments, in which he scored 28 goals and made 10 assists.
Al-Nasr is now in second place in the Saudi Arabian Championship, 7 points behind leader Al-Hilal.
