“Nerazzurri” ahead of Juventus already by 12 points.
Inter at home beat Atalanta in the rescheduled match of the 21st round of the Italian >Series A. The match at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium in Milan ended with the score 4:0.
The guests could have taken the lead already in the opening of the match, but after viewing the video replay (VAR), the referee canceled Charles' goal de Ketelare due to handball.
Before the break, the Nerazzurri scored twice. In the 26th minute, Matteo Darmian opened the scoring, and in stoppage time Lautaro Martinez scored.
Note that for the Argentine forward this is already the 23rd goal in this Serie A season. He leads the scorers' race, ahead of the closest pursuer, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, by 8 goals.
In the second half, Inter brought the matter to a rout. In the 54th minute, Federico Dimarcofinished the ball into the net after Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi saved a penalty kick by Martinez.
And the point in the match in the 71st minute was scored by Davide Frattesi, who came on as a substitute ten minutes earlier. He was assisted by Alexis Sanchez, who also appeared on the field in the second half.

The victory allowed Inter (69 points) to increase their lead in the Serie A standings. Simone Inzaghi's team is now 12 points ahead of second-place Juventus.
Atalanta (46 points) remained in fifth place – two points separate the team from Bergamo from fourth place, which is occupied by Bologna.
In the next round, Inter takes place on March 4 Genoa will host Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovsky. A day earlier, Atalanta will play at home against Bologna.
