Gironaof Ukrainians Artem Dovbik and Viktor Tsygankov defeated Osasuna in the home match of the 28th round of the Spanish La Liga. The match at the Estadio Municipal de Montilivi in Girona ended with the score 2:0.
The home team took the lead in the 13th minute of the match. Tsygankov saw Porto running into the visiting penalty area and made a tricky pass, which the Spaniard turned into a goal with a low shot into the far corner.
For Victor, this is the fourth assist in the current Spanish Championship. He also has six goals scored.
Unfortunately, in the second half, Tsygankov suffered a knee injury, which is why he was replaced by Jan Couta in the 64th minute. It is still unknown how serious this injury is and whether the midfielder will have time to recover in time for the match of the Ukrainian national team against the Bosnians in the qualifying playoffs for Euro 2024.
In turn, Dovbik also entered the starting line-up of the Girona team and spent 80 minutes on the field, after which he was replaced by Christian Stuani. Let us note that in the second half Artem had a good opportunity to score – the Ukrainian forward headed in a corner kick, but the Osasuna goalkeeper saved his team.

The victory allowed Girona (62 points) to regain second place in La Liga. The “White-Reds” moved Barcelona, which has 61 points, to the third step.
The gap between Michel’s team and the leader, Real Madrid, Ukrainian goalkeeper Andrey Lunin, was reduced to 4 points, but the “cream” played a match less. Osasuna (36 points) remained in tenth position.
