Boxers from a terrorist state are not going to go to the Games in Paris in a neutral status.
Russian boxers refused to participate in the qualifying competitions for the Olympic Games 2024.
The Secretary General of the Russian Boxing Federation Tatyana Kiriyenko reported this in a commentary to Russian propagandists.
According to her, Russian boxers “will never go to competitions in a neutral status, since they will not be able to betray their homeland.”
Note that Russians and Belarusians compete under their national flags only at the tournaments of the International Boxing Association (IBA), headed by Russian functionary Umar Kremlev.
We recall that on December 8, 2023, the IOC decided toadmitRussians and Belarusians to the 2024 Olympics as “individual neutrals” athletes”. They will only be able to compete in individual competitions, while teams from aggressor countries will not be allowed. Any national symbols of the Russian Federation and Belarus are also prohibited – anthems, flags, etc.
In addition, Russian and Belarusian athletes who publicly support the war or have contracts with the armies of aggressor states will not be allowed to participate in the 2024 Olympic Games .
The Summer Olympic Games in Paris will be held from July 26 to August 11, 2024.
