The head of the UAF congratulated the national team on their strong-willed victory.
President of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) Andrey Shevchenko commented on the victory of the Ukrainian national team over the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the semi-final match of the play-off qualifying for Euro 2024. p>
The match at the Bilino Pole stadium in the Bosnian city of Zenica ended with the score 1:2in favor of the Ukrainians. Sergei Rebrov's team missed out first, but then, thanks to goals from Roman Yaremchuk and Artem Dovbik, made a comeback and won a ticket to the playoff finals for reaching the continental championship.
“Congratulations to the Ukrainian team on a very important victory. The team showed character and fought until the last minute – well done. The decisive match is ahead in Wroclaw with the Icelandic team. We are moving towards the goal,” Shevchenko wrote on his Instagram page.

Previously it was reported that thanks to the success in the game with the Bosnians, Rebrov became the record holder for the number of strong-willed victories at the head of the Ukrainian national team.
