On May 18, the title holder WBO International lightweight champion Denis Berinchik will fight with the current WBO super featherweight champion Emanuel Navarrete.
The fight will take place in San Diego (USA). At stake in the duel between the Ukrainian and the Mexican will be the vacant WBO title in the lightweight category.
For Denis, this will be the first fight in his career for one of the four main world boxing championship belts.

29-year-old Navarrete in November 2023 ended his fight with Brazilian Robson Conceicao in a draw and retained the WBO super featherweight title. The Mexican's track record includes 40 fights: 38 wins (31 by knockout), one defeat and a draw.
Emmanuel became the WBO world champion in three divisions: second bantamweight (2018-2020), featherweight (2020- 2023) and second featherweight (holds the belt since 2023).
