BenficaUkrainian goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin failed to make it to the final of the Portugal Cup.
In the return match of the 1/2 finals, the Eagles drew with Sporting on their own field – 2:2. In the first match, Benfica was defeated with a score of 1:2.
The first half of the meeting at Estádio da Luz passed without any goals scored. At the start of the second half of the game, the “Lions” took the lead – Morten Hjulmand scored in the 47th minute.
The hosts came back very quickly – in the 52nd Nicolas Otamendi scored in the minute.
However, Ruben Amorim's men took the lead again in the 55th minute thanks to the efforts of Paulinho.
In the 64th minute, Benfica equalized the score for the second time in the match – a precise shot from Rafa Silva. However, following the results of two matches, “Sporting” triumphed (4:3).
