Sergey triumphed over Vaughn Alexander by unanimous decision.
Ukrainian boxer of the second average weight Sergey Derevyanchenko defeated American Vaughn Alexander in a fight that took place on the night of April 21 in Brooklyn, New York (USA).
The fight with the participation of the Ukrainian became part of the undercard of the fight between WBC world welterweight champion Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia.
Derevyanchenko and Alexander went the entire distance of 10 rounds. Throughout the fight, the Ukrainian dominated the ring. In the eighth round, he knocked down his opponent with a powerful blow to the body.
Following the results of the fight, all three judges gave victory to the Ukrainian in each of the rounds – 100:89.

Now the 38-year-old Derevyanchenko’s track record includes 15 victories (10 by knockout) and 5 defeats. In his previous fight, he lost by unanimous decision to the Mexican Jaime Munguia.
For Alexander, this is the 11th defeat in the professional competition. He also has 18 wins (11 by knockout) and one draw.
Recall that during his career Derevyanchenko had a chance to become a world champion three times, but never managed to do so.
