For the first time in history, two Ukrainians entered the top 20 of the world rankings at once.
Women's Tennis Association (WTA) and the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) updated their rankings based on the results of the last competitive week.
The status of the first racket of Ukraine was retained by Elina Svitolina, who lost one position compared to the previous ranking and now occupies 19th place.
Marta Kostyuk improved her position by one step, rising to 20th place. This is her personal best. Moreover,for the first time in history, two Ukrainian women entered the top 20 of the world rankingat once.
Note that Kostyuk became the third highest-rated tennis player in the history of Ukraine. Only Elina Svitolina (who was the third racket of the world) and Alena Bondarenko, who was in 19th position in the WTA standings, had a higher rating than her. Fourth in the list of the most rated tennis players in the history of Ukraine is Dayana Yastremskaya, who was in 21st place.
Poland's Iga Szwiatek continues to lead the world rankings. The second is the “neutral” Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, and the top 3 is completed by the American Cori Gauff.

Serbian Novak Djokovic retained his status as the first racket of the world. Italian Jannik Sinner and Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz continue to occupy second and third places, respectively.
