Petrovsky “Ingulets” secured early access to the Ukrainian Premier League (UPL) for the 2024/25 season.
Vladislav Lupashko’s team defeated Agribusiness with a score of 3:0 and, two rounds before the end of the First League championship, secured a promotion to the class.
“Ingulets” will definitely not fall below second place, since its advantage over “Left Bank”, which is in third position, has grown to 12 points. So the Petrovka team will spend the next season in the elite division.
Thus, “Ingulets” returned to the UPL after a year-long absence. Previously, the club played in the elite of Ukrainian football in the 2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons.
Ingulets became the second newcomer to the UPL of the 2024/25 season. Previously, entry into the top division of the Ukrainian Championship was secured by Lvov “Karpaty”, which will play in the elite for the first time since the 2019/20 season.
We would like to remind you that the two best clubs of the First League are entering the elite division , and the third and fourth teams will play with the 13th and 14th places of the UPL for the right to promotion.
